everyone talks about bali so here I went!.the hotel was great as it was a 4star and not too expensive as I shared with my buddy niece. She was good company afterall, have not seen her for like ages as we grew up together when we were toddlers!!!so we use to fight etc.

the day trip went like a breeze like half a day and you only get to browse through souvenirs by the road and bargaining is really tedious so we left it at that!.Moreover,I have seen many of these things all over the world as now bali are being centred as a world finest arts and craft workmanship so its not surprising that the wooden giraffe you see in south africa are made here.
Among other things which you think are locally crafted are all from bali which is not surprising as labour here is being brutalised by the businessman.Have a heart share the profit.

The massage was good but I still prefer my regular masseur in brickfields,he is still the best.Of course not to forget the sandy beaches and the travelling ladies who will be there to soothe your shoulder aches and leg cramps. They are good at it afterall it is their livelihood.

Presently there is a new mall at the centre of Kuta and it is like any other malls, you can't miss it.alongside the roads you will find small cafes and modern eateries that will caters for the average "ang mor" and tourist alike, reasonable priced and presentation is very appetising. The waitress are friendly. The latte is good.the atmosphere is enticing.

For four nights and three days,I managed to get relaxed and got a sarong and some dvds and overall its not expensive if you don't simply spend as i did not go to the clubs or bars in Legians or the Kuta areas.Healthy nights and early breakfast was the idea of relaxed holiday.

I would like to suggest that cheap accomodation is definitely a no no as no air cond or fan will be provided and the bedroom is very open to mosquitoes attack and other strangers as well.If you
don't mind these things then its like usd25 per nite.

Of course there are many hotels, villas and bungalows but don't ask the taxi drivers as he will take you to hotels that are not populated.Be on the guard anyway. If unsure you can check the rooms first till you are satisfied. The best would be a 4star hotel you won't go wrong afterall you deserve a good holiday!!!

We went a on day trip to Ubud thats about usd35 with driver and car.Not a bad deal but we get to spend two hours in Ubud browsing through very expensive souvenirs. Then as we were on the way to Kintamani where there is one volcano we were greeted with rows and rows of shops with all kinds of souvenirs by then we were too tired to browse anymore so we just enjoy the trip to Kintamani.

In just about half an hour drive from Ubud we arrived at the top of the mountain with a beautiful scenic view of this volcano and the surrounding areas was really cool!!!The driver says to us,don't go out of the van as the peddlers will mob you with all sorts of trickets and they full of tricks as well so the driver says.We have to trust him, anyway. Then it was time to go back to Kuta.

The next two days was spent in Kuta as we do not want to venture into any unfamilar surroundings as we actually wanted a carefree holiday and we are not the ang mor type who has never been to asia!!!.

Overall,if you want to come to Bali, head for the beaches and stay there for a three or four days, don't come out to the hills or the bars areas just relax and tanned and head back to the airport and home.
